We are seeking a Lawyer to join our expanding reputable practice and provide legal advice and representation to clients regarding Real Estate matters.
Duties and responsibilities
- Draft and review real estate documents, including purchase agreements, leases, and deeds.
- Represent clients in real estate transactions and negotiations.
- Provide legal advice on property management, zoning laws, and property taxes.
- Handle real estate litigation issues, such as boundary disputes and title issues.
- Conduct due diligence for real estate transactions.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as real estate agents and architects, to ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
- Keep clients informed about the status of their cases and provide guidance on legal rights and obligations.
Requirements and skills
- LLB or Juris Doctor.
- A licensed member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
- 3+ years of experience in Real Estate Law.
- Strong written communications skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality client service.
- Ability to work independently.
